整體三螺旋、四螺旋穩定器分為井底型和鉆柱型，其工作表面的耐磨材料即扶正面）有常用表面鑲嵌硬質合金柱、有表面鑲嵌金剛石復合體、有堆焊耐磨焊條、還有低溫釬焊硬質合金條等多種形式。
